Today was unexpectedly peaceful and slack for e 1st time in school. Think I've been over working. Rest is good.
The most unexpected thing that happened was that I actually got to play captains ball with some of my students.
Somehow...Ever since I entered the army, been losing sight of my dream day by day. Been jaded month by month. I'm so tired and worn out, I lose some of the aspirations and expectations that I hold. Slowly, I forgot why I 1st serve in church. I also forgot why I wanted to be a sunday school teacher, why I wanted to be an officer in the army, and why I wanted to be a teacher in secondary school.
Today, I suddenly remembered it all. Nothing really beats the joy of seeing my students happy. Each of them have so much potential in them, and so much hopes and dreams.
Somehow when I played with my students today, it's was the exact same feeling I got when I 1st taught sunday school to the sec1s. It's hard to describe. But it's an honourable responsibility.
Too bad my time in nan chiau is almost up. I guess it's about time I do the other things that I have to do 1st...
